How Do I Meet People?
We invite everyone to “Come Be With Us!” Grace Lutheran, Pleasanton & Faith Lutheran, Hazard are a partnership ministry made up of people that have grown up here and many who have joined here from neighboring communities or who have moved here. Your presence here will not only be joyfully welcomed but will fit our growing diversity. We are a church with an eye to the future.
Women’s Group
The Kingdom Workers at Grace, Pleasanton and the Women of Faith at Hazard provide all the women in our church partnership a way to serve in some way. There are great Bible studies for women dealing with special topics such as parenting and discipleship that are conducted throughout the year as well as each week. Both groups are active in mission support. Both organizations team up to serve food at special events as well as our partnership VBS which involves up to 100 people each summer. The Women of Faith are also a very active LWML organization which is part of the Nebraska District as well as the national LWML. The Kingdom Workers and Women of Faith represent our church partnership very well as they display the love of Christ in all that they do.
Youth Ministry
We have a very active youth group of 25 plus members along with great leaders, Bible Studies, and fun youth activities. Our Youth Bible Studies engage current topics with qualified leaders that help expand their understanding of today’s world with excellent outreach! Every three years our Youth have the opportunity to travel and attend the LCMS National Youth Convention with 25,000 other participants. A thrilling experience.
Grace and Faith also have a Midweek School. Tuesdays at Faith, Hazard and Wednesday at Grace Pleasanton. Each of these begin at about 4pm and end at 5pm and are staffed by people that love children. Our youth ministry is a great way to reach into our communities with the love of Christ and be of help to families in many ways. We have something for every child. Included in our youth ministry, is also our Sunday school with interesting bible stories and exciting activities.
Mission & Outreach
Reaching people with the Good News of Jesus Christ is our mission. We do this through our joyful members, youth group, midweek school, Sunday school, as well as the many missionaries that we support both here and in foreign countries.
Music & Drama
Our church family in two locations is blessed with excellent key board and organ players plus great vocalists at both churches. We blend the modern with traditional music and use our midweek, Sunday school and youth children to assist in the services.
